Our Tenth Anniversary!
11:00am - 1:30pm

Presented by BostonApp/Lab
At The Anchor, Charlestown Navy Yard,
1 Shipyard Park, Charlestown 02129
$10 Suggested Donation

An interactive workshop followed by a 1pm walking tour demonstrating its principles at the “OF Many Minds” exhibit in the Charlestown Navy Yard, featuring sculptor Michael Alfano and urban designer Ben Carlson. The focus is on ways that art can contribute to transforming a neighborhood into a community, and your role in helping to plan and execute it. Engage in brainstorming and discussion around critical questions: What could “community building” look/feel like in your neighborhood? Where could it happen? Are there potential, or even existing, “common spaces” that can serve as a canvas for this transformation? What possible funding and organizational strategies can help bring this initiative to life?
